Our Satisfaction Guarantee: We want you to be completely satisfied with your OSHA training. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within the eligible window and we will do our best to make it right — including a full refund where applicable.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy governs all purchases made through Get OSHA Instructors ("we," "us," or "our") at getoshainstructors.com. By purchasing any course or training product through our platform, you agree to this policy.
We offer OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour Outreach Training courses delivered through an online self-paced platform. Because our courses are digital products that provide immediate access upon purchase, our refund eligibility is based on the extent to which the course has been accessed.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a full or partial refund under the following conditions:

Course Completion Percentage
Your course completion percentage is tracked automatically by our learning management system. The percentage displayed in your dashboard at the time of the refund request will be used to determine eligibility. We reserve the right to audit completion records to prevent abuse of this policy.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- The course has been completed and a DOL card has been issued or requested
- More than 7 calendar days have passed since the date of purchase
- The course is more than 50% complete at the time of the request
- The refund request is based on a change of mind after the course is substantially accessed
- Failure to pass the final exam (additional attempts may be available)
- The student no longer needs the certification after completing the course
- Employer or state requirements changed after enrollment
- Failure to complete the course within the 180-day access window
- Access issues caused by the student's own device, browser, or internet connection
- Promotional or discounted purchases (unless otherwise specified at time of sale)
4. Refund Timeframes
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date. We are unable to process refund requests outside of this window regardless of course progress, except in cases of verified technical failure on our platform.
The 7-day window begins at the timestamp of purchase as recorded in our system, which is displayed on your order confirmation email.
5. Group & Corporate Orders
For group purchases of 5 or more seats, the following additional terms apply:
- Unactivated seats may be refunded within 14 days of the group order date, provided no individual in that seat has logged in or started any module.
- Partially used groups: Refunds are calculated per seat. Seats where course progress is 0% and the 14-day window applies are refundable; all other seats follow the standard policy above.
- Custom-quoted orders (50+ seats) are subject to the refund terms specified in the signed agreement or purchase order. If no specific terms are stated, this general policy applies.
- Group discount pricing is non-transferable. If seats are reduced below the discount threshold through refunds, the remaining seats will be repriced at the applicable non-discounted rate and any difference will be deducted from the refund.
6. How to Request a Refund

- Course name(s) for which a refund is being requested

Requests submitted by email or phone during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM EST) are typically responded to within 1 business day.
7. Processing & Timeline
Once your refund request is approved:
- Credit / Debit Card: Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
- PayPal: Refunds are returned to your PayPal account within 3–5 business days.
- Other Payment Methods: Processing time may vary. We will notify you of the expected timeline when your refund is approved.
We will send a confirmation email once the refund has been processed on our end. The time it appears in your account depends on your financial institution and is outside our control.
8. DOL Card & Completion
Once a student passes the final exam, their completion information is submitted to the OSHA Outreach Training Program for DOL card processing. After this submission, no refund can be issued under any circumstances, as the training record has been officially filed with the U.S. Department of Labor.
If you completed the course and are waiting for your DOL card but have not yet received it, that is a delivery matter, not a refund matter. Please contact us and we will check the status of your card.
9. Chargebacks & Disputes
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support team.
If a chargeback is filed without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access to the course and platform
- Dispute the chargeback with supporting documentation including login records, completion data, and communications
- Decline future purchases from the associated account or payment method
Fraudulent chargebacks on completed courses may be referred to appropriate authorities.
10. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs your order. We recommend reviewing this page before each purchase.
